In Memoriam - Bill Crosby
The Metropolitan Choral Festival received news on Sunday morning, August 27, 2023 (just hours after our concert), that founding member, gracious benefactor, and dear friend, William Crosby passed away peacefully.
Bill loved the MCF -- singing for as many years as he was able, attending the concerts in person or via live stream, and generously supporting the organization financially. Bill was known for his wonderfully kind spirit, his joy for life, his love and care for the people around him, and his beautiful bass voice. He will be dearly missed on this earth.
Bill, we hope the Requiems we sang in the hours before you passed provided peace and joy for your journey, but will also bring peace, joy and comfort to those of us who knew and loved you.
May love and deep peace surround Bill's family and friends in this time.
The 2023 concert was FREE and open to the public.
